| | Media Player Error Message (C00D1069) I recently subscribed to Urge and when I try to play a radio stations I receive the following error message "Windows Media cannot play the playlist becaue it's not valid." I read a post saying someone had been able to resolve the problem by downloading a plugin for *.pls (playlist) but I can't locate one. Can anyone help? |

| | RE: Media Player Error Message (C00D1069) Jetstream, I'll bump your question because I have the same error. I has been working fine up to this week. So what changed? Any MS SME available to assist with this error? KB didn't help at all. -- Greg "Jetstream" wrote: > Where do I find the URL? | | Re: Media Player Error Message (C00D1069) Zachd, This will sound silly, but I don't know where to go for URGE support. I suppose I didn't look that hard. So, in my case, this is how I fixed it. I had 2 radio stations bookmarked in my playlist in WMP11. URGE allows you save stations. Well they go to the playlist in Media Player. I deleted the items from the playlist and all is well. -- Greg "zachd [MSFT]" wrote: > > For the Urge issue? | | Re: Media Player Error Message (C00D1069) I tried eliminating the .pls part and created a link on our website but it still did the same think and when I tried to select my WinAmp... it still took me to WM and said could not openérecognize .pls file. Now the link is for a radio station that we are running... It works for listners that are using Pre-Vista, but Vista does not do what we want it to. I can click on WinAmp Icon on my desktop and the radio stream plays... no problem. Can we bypass the Windows Player and set winamp as our radio player? When a window came up from clicking the link on our website... it gave us a choice of what program we wanted to use to open files with .pls but yet when we browsed and chose WinAmp... it didn't register our selection and tried to use WM.... Now if we could only get this to work for our listners that have Vista running and my microphone to work... |

| | I'm having a strange problem with Urge also. I have to reinstall Urge everytime I restart WMP. I open WMP, and notice that it has not automatically logged into Urge. So I click the Sign-In button and it launches the Urge installation, and I reinstall it. I tried closing the installation window before it started. However, I couldn't access any Urge menus or songs without reinstalling. It just started doing this a few days ago. I don't get it. |
