Vista - windows dvd maker in visat will not burn dvd

Can anyone help please...i have just purchased a system from gateway with
vist premium installed . The problem I have is that I am unable to burn DVD
video from WMV files, Picture formats ie jpg i can burn Data dvd no problem.
I have tried third party DVD program ie. Power2Go which is recomended for
vista. I have down loaded lattest Vista Codec pack as adaived by gateway and
it has made no difference. Unfortunatly although the system is only 4 weeks
old Gateway have turned their back on me ! It will burn WMV sometimes if it
is a very small file say 2/3 mins 20 mins forget !
I am unable to find any suggested fixes...oh and I have tried tried burning
music cd and all that is fine its just burning to dvd to watch on a normal
house hold tv system
I will include a copy of my DXDIAG file if it helps anyone to help me. May
have to cut down due to space !!! Also I am happy for friends to email me
