Vista - Issues with MS Picture It! Premium 10

HELP! I have looked everywhere for help on this. I tried loading my MS
Picture It! Premium 10 software (stand alone version) on my new Notebook that
came with Vista on it. It loaded fine but when I try to click on "Create New
Project" I keep getting an error script message and it freezes up. I really
like this program and use it a lot. I cannot find a site that has a Vista
Patch for this (the Tech at Staples suggested that). It works on my XP Home
computer but I need to be able to use this on the notebook also. Does anyone
have any info on how to make this work or where there is a patch? SO FAR I AM
NOT IMPRESSED WITH VISTA......I have had more software issues than I care to
count. Sorry, I had to vent.

It appears that Picture It has been discontinued in favor of
Windows Photo Gallery

If you don't like WPG, you might take a look at....

Hi Dave, thanks for taking the time to reply and for the info. I have
several photo editing programs etc...the thing that I liked about the Picture
It program was the great projects that I could just "drag and drop" stuff
into. I will check out the Photo gallery though and see if it will help>
