| | Album art resoultion in Media Centre Have just discovered Windows Media Centre - a fantastic media experience, everything looking slick and hi-def on my shiny widescreen laptop... So it seems a bit self-defeating that album art is displayed in lo-res, as it looks terrible quite frankly. When will Microsoft be correcting this gaping error? ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. | | Re: Album art resoultion in Media Centre ..... yes indeed the album art that media center grabs is a lowly 200x200 res artwork and looks crap. You can of course grab your own artwork as a jpg call it folder.jpg and place it in the folder containing the tracks of an album. | | Re: Album art resoultion in Media Centre Thanks, didn't know that. However, most music I play on it is from CD's playing in the drive, and my collection is 100's of CD's big! It seems to me that wherever Media Centre is getting its information from online should be looked at. | | Re: Album art resoultion in Media Centre Get with the times and rip all those CDs to MP3s ![]() The question of the quality of artwork has been raised before and apparently the 200x200 image is something to do with backward compatibility with some older devices... so unless MS decide to to draw a line in the sand and move on we may be stuck with crappy artwork!
