| | change an M3U into a direct file. Ok, I was told the M3U file was not a direct file so that's why it can't be imported. I understand that but how do you change it to make it a direct file? It's in my music folder except when I go to import to Movie Maker then it's gone and I have to select all files to even see it on the list. I can play it everywhere I've saved it to but I just cant change it over. Please tell me how to do that. Thanks! -- Buzzy |

| | Re: change an M3U into a direct file. What do you mean 'change it over'? M3U files are playlists for Media Player / Winamp etc and I don't think Movie Maker can import them. | | Re: change an M3U into a direct file. Assume a playlist M3U file is a list of 3 MP3 music files.... then instead of trying to import the M3U file into Movie Maker, you need to go and find each of the 3 MP3 files and import them directly. -- website references are to www.papajohn.org PapaJohn "buzzbait0u812" <buzzbait0u812@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:7EEBB62A-8EB4-4B81-ACA4-ADA0A1ED969B@microsoft.com... > Ok, I was told the M3U file was not a direct file so that's why it can't > be > imported.
