How do I get WMP11 to discover .m4a in my monitored folders???

I have all of my music in .m4a as I use an iPod and iTunes. I want WMP11 to
discover these files and add them to the library automatically. If I drag an
individual file into WMP11 it will play the format but I need it to
continually discover the files so I can have my library up to date at all
times and same me draging each individaul file (5000+) in.

What plug-in did you use to add playback support? If I recall correctly,
that plugin simply needs to register themselves for WMP along the lines of
the documentation on MSDN...

Re: How do I get WMP11 to discover .m4a in my monitored folders???

I am looking for a solution that allows WMP to scan my folders and
automatically add my iTunes files without converting the format. This must be
possible as if I add a single file in that format WMP will play the file with
no issues.

Re: How do I get WMP11 to discover .m4a in my monitored folders???

Right, WMP will play the file presuming that you added in an M4A playback
filter. Since you've now done that, the next question is: who made this
playback filter? They're not registered for use with with WMP - they should
follow the instructions here--
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa387812.aspx
to complete their registration.
