Sony NW-E002 MP3 Device and Sync problems

My new Sony USB MP3 Device[NW-E002] could not be sync with the music files
came in with the VISTA's WMP music file.

I opened the WMP and cliked on the Sync tab.
Then dragged the music tracks that came with the VISTA in it's music file to
the right column to sync.
now I clicked the sync button .
I could see a green bar moving to suggests that music files [I presume here]
transfer to the MP3 device.
Now when I unplug the MP3 device and the MP3 device screen says "NO DATA"
What can I do to import music tracks from my computer hard drive to my USB
MP3 device?
Thanking you

Further to my earlier posting,
I could see when I sync, the MP3 device screen while attached to the
computer displays
Audio codec: windows media audio 9.1. 160 kbps 44kHz stereo 1 pass CBR[I
also could play the track through the computer speakers!!] BUT
when i detach the MP3 device from the computer I get "NO DATA" displayed on
my MP3 device.

I am almost certain that you must use Sony's software "SonicStage" to load
music.
