Vista - Microsoft Digital Imag

Does anyone know if the Digital Image suite or Picture It will work in Vista?
Really hate the Photo Gallery for editing and don't want to spring for Corel
Draw. The Vista Photo Gallery is great for organizing but that's about it.

DIS Anniversary Edition is optimized for
Vista and there is a compatibility patch
for DIS2006.

I successfully installed my MS Picture It!/
MS Digital Image programs on my Vista
partition.

The versions that function correctly are:
PI99, PI2000, DIS9, DIS10, DIS2006,
and the DIS 2006 Anniversary Edition.

PIPP2001, PIPP2002 and DIP7 will
install but will not run. At least...they will not
run on my machine.

FWIW...I've seen reports that some users
have issues when running DIS10 on Vista.

I don't know about DIS or Picture It but Adobe Photoshop Elements 5 works
fine for me & Vista and it is available on E-Bay for less than $30.
