Re: Windows Media Center - recording

Media Center (Vista Ultimate) detects, configures and records from the S-video
and analog stereo audio inputs on my Hauppauge WinTV PVR USB2 perfectly. Perhaps
if the TV tuner card has a configuration application and if it is set up to
default switch to S-video or composite input, then Media Center will be able to
detect and configure the analog input.

RE: Windows Media Center - recording

Yes, Bob J, but it isn't. Unfortunately. I have tried everything within that
option. But nothing works.

Re: Windows Media Center - recording

I have a Hauppauge HVR-1600 internal TV tuner with 2 Svideo and anolog
(composite) inputs. I am using Media Center and Windows Home Premium and I
have installed the latest drivers for my tuner card.
When I go to SETUP TV SIGNAL, the options I have are Cable, Satellite and
Antenna. There is no option listed anywhere to select S-Video or Anolog as
the source input wither during or after setting up the signal.
I have tried both Manually Configure My Signal and Configure my TV Signal
Automatically.

When I use Hauppauge WINTV2000 it shows all of the available inputs for my
TV tuner and I have no problem selecting them there.

Thanks

RWH
