Vista - Where to find the sound/speaker balance button

Hi, I've been trying to locate the button to adjust the sound / speaker
balance button in vista home premium. I'm now watching a dvd that is dubbed
in both chinese and japanese and will like to watch the show in one language
only. Can anyone help me out with this problem?

Go to the Control Panel, Sound, Under playback tab, click on Speakers, select
levels, then balance.

hi, followed the instructions, but got stumped after the select levels tab.
can only find 2 options - speakers and pc speaker. When i click on speakers,
it only mute the sound. When i use drag the pc speaker tab from -18 db to 0
db or even mute the pc speaker, i'm still hearing 2 sounds from the disc. is
there a problem with my player or the file itself?
