Burning files (pictures) to cd

When I click and drage a file from my computer to a cd, it tells me "Invalid
MS-Doss function" Why? When I insert the disk in the dvd compartment, the
window does not show up. I look for it under computer.

Thanks,

Skiper

A couple of basic questions since you did not provide very much
information: Do you have a CD burner or is it just a DVD/CD player? Have
you been able to burn discs before? Are you certain your optical drive
is functional? Are you able to read a data disk with it? What is "the
disk"? Is it a video or data disk? Have you tried other video/data
discs? What do you mean by "I look for it under computer"? Does that
mean you physically lifted up the computer and looked under it? And if
so, what were you expecting to find? I usually just find dust ;-)
