Windows Movie Maker won't play timeline if clip is longer than 8 m

Hello!

I am trying to make a movie in Windows Movie Maker on my Window's Vista
Toshiba Satellite 2080 (1 gig ram, 120 gig hard drive). If the clips I am
working on are less than 8 minutes, I can play the time line just fine. What
when they get above 8 minutes, the time line won't play, even though the
button shows it has been pushed. If I delete a few clips to get the movie
back to 8 minutes, it plays. Has this ever happened before?

How much virtual memory do you have assigned for your paging file. It
sounds as if the file you are trying to edit is too big to be handled in the
combination of main and virtual memory.
