Vista - Burning from playlist

I have VISTA and trying to burn a playlist onto CD from Media Payler - I
can't get the CD to burn because I get a message to connect a burner &
restart. I want to burn from Media Player. Is there a setting somewhere
that I need to correct?

I have a similar problem my media player used to burn and now it doesn't it
just tells to connect burner, i can't even uninstall, cuz it doesn't even
appear on the programs. if any one could help please we would really
apreciate it.

In Control Panel > Device Manager > DVD\CD-ROM drives, right click on the drive
and select Properties. On the General tab, Device status box are there any
errors?
