Vista - Print all tags associated with a thumbnail

Windows Vista Home Premium Photo Gallery: I would like to print a composit
thumbnail page on sticky label paper with all the associated tags, date pict
taken, any comments: selected fields of the meta data. I have thousands of
family pictures that were taken before digital camera that I plan to scan
into Photo Gallery and onto the computer. I only want to label them through
tags and comments one time then print the info off on labels that I can
attach to the back of the original pictures. Does anyone know if this is
possible in Photo Gallery? If so, how? Is there any third party vendor
doing it? If so, which one and what product?

My first response reading your post was you got to be kidding. Not
only do you want an advanced contact sheet manager that prints
thumbnails and includes selected metadata you want it printed on
sticky labels besides and oh, don't Photo Gallery do that?

Short answer, heck no, Photo Gallery can't do that. It can print
contact sheets which would be just the thumbnails. Other image viewer
can take it a step or two further and include some metadata, I haven't
found one I like that much. For example XnView sort of does what you
want so can ACDSee and others...sort of.

What you're really looking for is a plug-in for high end graphic
applications like Photoshop. There is a huge after market for Adobe
plug-in products. Of course not much use unless you already have such
an application, then are willing to pay upwards of $120 or more for
the plug-in. If you don't mind, then something like Cacidi offers many
plug-ins.

Getting a product that does all that and prints on labels may be just
wishful thinking. If you or anyone finds such a product let me know.

Does anyone know if I can get the text on the Windows Gallery Contact Sheet
"Tile" to wrap the text. I know that hovering produces the full text;
however, I am wanting to pribnt the tiles with full text on regular label
paper.

Also, Is it possible to align the contact pictures vertically one under the
other?
