Hey, I used a Hauppage HD ATSC USB 980 tuner on a MacMini system w/ EyeTV &
it was able to obtain the 'sub-channels' that you discribe. I reused the same
tuner on a Vista Ultimate system & I can't get the sub-channels either. I
hope that someone from MS can look into this & get a reply back. On the same
note: EyeTV can display the Video Stream of a program it's recording or one
that it had recorded & your playing back [such as 1920 x 1080 @ 60 FPS or 720
x 480 @ 29 FPS, etc} & that is really helpful to determine the content
features & limitations when you play it back on a HD screen!
I would like to stay w/ Vista, but sometimes the Mac features are tempting
me back; especially w/ the new MacMini's that have a little more horsepower
are now available... come on MS - we need you to stay-in-the-game & be
competative for what we consumers want.
Remember i'ts SUB-CHANNELS & VIDEO STREAM INFO... that's my list of
catch-up-to-Mac things that I would like to see in VISTA.
Thanks for any & all HELP!
