Vista - Unable to play MPEG and WMV files

Newsgroup Reset n/a posts	Unable to play MPEG and WMV files I am using Vista Home Premium and have selected Media Player to play videos with MPEG and WMV extensions. When I download these files, they will not play. Help!!
