Can't open pics by pressing enter or double click

When you double click or press enter a picture should open in the program
assosiated with the filetype well my computer doesnt seen to understand that.

I try to open jpg in Window Preview or what the program is called and
nothing happens. Absolutely nada!!! I double click and I press enter but
nothing happens.

Window Gallery also show pics that has been deleted... square after square
is in the gallery but those pics has been removed. How come it is doing that?
How do I get Gallery to understand NOT to show those files anymore?

I can't edit or preview any picture in Explorer... not Internet Explorer but
Filemanager or what Vista calls it in English.

It's like Vista has forgotten all its suppose to know when it comes to
pictures. I can't open or edit the way I should.

How do I remind Vista what it is suppose to know???? Plz help because the
preview is one of the best parts with Vista/XP!!!

Re: Can't open pics by pressing enter or double click

Hi,

I had a similar problem for weeks with my Vista Home Premium... I just
had solve it by going to: Control Panel->Default Programs->Set Default
Programs. Then click on "Windows Photo Gallery", then click on "Choose
defaults for this Program", Select all, or just the types you want to
relate directly to the program and save. For some reason some of the
types of image files I usually use were not selected anymore, and that
seemed to be problem that did not allow me to view my picture files by
double clicking on them.

Hope it helps.
