    anyone else have this happening?
i opened Windows Media Player and closed it before the the moive was done only to find out
the player was gone from my desktop but i can still hear it playing so i went to task manager
and in (processes) it's still loaded and playing? so i did a end task and rebooted the system
and went in to task manager and it's back again when i try to close it it closes and then
comes right backup ? i checked to see if it loads in the startup but didn't see it here.

Exactly what steps are you taking to closeMP?
If you were playing a DVD with Media Player did you remove the DVD from the
    drive after you closed MP?

no it's (avi's) on a harddrive . as for how i stoped it i just hit the (x) on the top of player. the main thing i'm trying to find out is why the player not the (avi) keeps loading a startup and how i can stop it? i don't recall it happening
    with (32bit)

Do you get the same result if you select the MP Icon on the upper left and
    select the Close option?
