Media Player pretends that I don't have a CD in the drive

I have burned about 400 CDs succesfully but suddenly a little message is in
the rip tab where the CD info is supposed to show up; To begin, insert and
audio CD into the CD drive.

I swear I have a regular CD in there, in the correct drive as well. I have
even tried multiple differnt CDs that I haven't ripped yet. It even says that
message when I put ina CD I have already ripped!

Open the computer explorer and check for a presence of a CD drive. If not there, check the device manager, look in DVD/CD drives.
