I was able to burn dvd's of my projects on Windows movie maker, but now I
can't. The dvd's can play the audio track but the screen is black, (no image).
Can anyone help me please?

It sounds to me like you're missing a video codec. If I understand things
correctly there are many different video formats and each one of them is like
a foreign language, a codec is what will translate it so your software can
understand it. try these two downloads.

http://www.theorica.net/download.htm
I recomend the k-lite mega codec and the codecs 5.0
that should work but people have been having trouble with a specific codec
called the indeo audio codec. If either of these packages gives you that
codec then windows dvd maker won't work until you uninstall it. If that
happens then search this site for "indeo" and use "zachd (msft)"s method for
removing it and you'll be fine.
I hope it works out for you. I've had problems too and it gets frustrating.

"The Codecs" from Theorica is an irresponsible mess that I would construe to
be extremely dangerous. Please do not recommend that: it's pretty awful.
Anybody still including MMStream Switcher *and* a really old FFDShow is
bascically saying to that they have about zero quality control.
KLite Mega is dangerous too. Please for the love of Pete don't install
their "Full" (option 5) Mega version - that will "nicely" cause DVDMaker to
start crashing.
Codec Packs are generally really horrible things. Please be careful - if
someone follows your advice, that's going to cause significant problems for
their Windows experience.
