| | CD Insert/Jewel Case Insert Maker ignored? Re: Windows Vista Premium has nothing to create CD Inserts? After exhaustively searching my new Toshiba laptop for some method by which I could create a CD case insert for the discs I was creating, it appears someone with not only Windows, but Toshiba and Yahoo as well decided we didn't need that feature. (Well, not for free anyway) This thing has at least three methods and/or programs for burning CD's -- The Toshiba CD/DVD burner with no bells and whistles at all, but was obviously made to be very "User Friendly" ... the Yahoo Jukebox, which wants you to pay and keep paying for their "premium" service (and cookies, spyware and more .. Oh My! *LOL*), and then the Windows Media player 11.0 which sadly has not changed all that much for quite a while now, and sadly followed the "other" companies by not offering a built in CD Insert creator. Sure, I can try to install the Nero or Roxio I use on my PC and hope it will be "Vista Friendly," but I have a question or two first before going through with that. Along with using WinXP on my PC, I also have the "Plus!" CD for XP, which very nicely includes the Jewel case program on it among other cool features. Interestingly enough, the Microsoft site now states this CD is no longer being sold by the way! What was even more ridiculous is the statement concerning how "many of the features and tools can be found in Windows Vista." Not the features I got with my Windows XP Plus! there's not. Perhaps I got a "special" one? *g* Any-who, please let me know if anyone out there has successfully used the things on the XP Plus! CD on Vista, with or without going into the properties to have it respond like WinXP with the program. Or, is there perhaps a download somewhere on the MS site I've not located as yet with a CD Insert creation program included. Don't want to go the route of using Office with someone's premade paper either BTW. Would rather just use my PC and save some trees putting the contents on the top with LightScribe. LOL Thanks in advance for any and all kind assistance! Hope I added some smiles to the plea. )Suzanne |

| | RE: CD Insert/Jewel Case Insert Maker ignored? I have the same issue. I'd like some simple confirmation that this is true, so I can stop looking through the software I have.
