Re: Vista Movie Maker stops working on publish

I'm using jpeg's, but I converted 4 pics to bmp to try and got thhe same
results. For what its worth, I successfully published the same project on my
XP machine at work.

Re: Vista Movie Maker stops working on publish

That's a crash in Voxware MetaSound. There's no possible reason for that to
be on your system. Did some nasty codec pack put that on your system?
Generally codec packs are about as useful as gargling battery acid. =P

If you remove Voxware or rename the file "msms001.vwp" to anything else, you
should stop crashing here.

I found msms001.vwp and renamed it as you suggested (have no idea how it got
there). Still no luck. Same response.

Re: Vista Movie Maker stops working on publish

Make sure to send your crash reports. =) The part about "Status Not
Reported" there makes it harder for people to help you.

There's no reported incidents of this crash, so -- make sure you send in
this crash report. =\

If you installed a third party codec pack, you would likely want to remove
that in full. That is quite likely not doing anything useful for you.
