Vista - Photo Gallery: Red Screen After Recent Update

Compaq Presario SR5013WM Desktop PC

Photo Gallery worked fine until I recenty updated Vista...now pictures
are all red in color.

At the same time I updated Vista, I also installed my monitor's color
profile (Samsun SyncMaster 1100p Plus), which caused the problem.
