Vista - Vista - Windows media player error message

I don't think real player 11 was the issue. I just got a new VISTA computer
and I didn't have real player installed when I got the error message.
Thinking that maybe I need to install replayer 11 did not fix my problem
either. Any assistance would be helpful. I'm about to try dean-dean
solution.
