I know you all have heard it before but I'll say it again: It is silly that
Windows Photo Gallery does not allow selective picture import from a digital
camera. I have 2GB SD cards for my Nikon D50 and I LIKE having lots of
pictures on the card. And I simply am not going to erase the SD card after
every download to the camera. So why force me to import the same files to
the PC every time I connect my camera? It wastes time and potentially even
overwrites files that I have tweaked in my digital photo software (MS Digital
Suite, by the way) without changing the name of the files. I sincerely hope
MS will remedy this severe shortocoming in the upcoming Vista service pack.
It mars an otherwise good program that I would probably use were it not for
this flaw.
