| Guest | analog converters What is the best analog converter to use with Vista. I have home movies on VHS tapes that I need to put on DVDs. Also, how can I import my family home movies that are on DVDs into my computer, so I can edit and burn to new DVDs? |

| Guest | Re: analog converters What has been working for me: I bought a combination VCR/DVD Recorder (Recorder, *not* just a VCR/DVD player). I put a VHS tape in the VCR tape deck, a blank DVD in the DVD tray, and set up a dubbing session; very slick and trouble free. The tape contents are copied and converted to digital format on the DVD. I can then copy the DVD files to my computer via the DVDRW drive.
