| | need what to view old floppy disks plan to get floppy disk drive installed on new pc that has Vista home premium. Can I view disks with Vista that were taken & viewed using Windows 95 and 98? What was before Windows 95? Do I need anything else to view old floppys? Will I have a problem saving them onto pc and then to dvd? (or whatever you call them) Thank you, -- viki |

| | Re: need what to view old floppy disks Vista Home Premium (or any Vista) will not have any problem reading any floppy that could be read by previous versions of windows. DOS(various), Windows 286, 386, 3, 3.11 as I recall. The floppy format has stayed the same from DOS.
