file format conversion .mov to dvd

    Hello,

I have a .mov format file that I want to copy to a dvd-r so I can watch it
on tv. There are several free downloadable programs to convert mov to dvd.
Does anyone have a recommendation for Vista please ?

    Thanks for all advice

    K

    Thanks, Manuel, it worked fine.

2 questions, can you help ?

The dvd drive ejected the disc during the process (after burning, before
finalising) and I had to re-insert it. Is this normal ?

There is a folder called DVD left behind which I cannot delete (I get a
    window 'calculating time remaining' ).

Is this a feature of dvdflick or something else ?

    Thanks again

    K

I'm using only the ISO Mode, so I've no idea.
Does the disk work after the burning process?

This is the working folder from Flick.
Try to delete the folder after you closed the programm, or after a restart
    of your system.

The tool works under Vista, but hasn't been tested very much with Vista.
Post your problems at the Flick forum, maybe there you can find better
    solutions.

    Hello again,

yes thanks, the disc does work.

I managed to delete the folder eventually by changing its properties , it
had sub-folders & files, I had to change them all to remove the read-only
tag & sharing properties. Will ask in the forum as you suggested.

    Thanks again
