Vista - I cant import music or videos in movie maker 6.0 or dvd maker

I dont know wats wrong with my pc....wen i click on videos or audio under
import media in movie maker nothing happens...but wen i click on pictures a
new little window comes up so i can search through my files....the same thing
goes for the dvd maker...i wanted to add a video for the intro and a music
background but wen i hit the browse button nothing happens...wen i click on
"new items" nothing pops up either....plzzz someone helpp me...how can i get
this to work

also another thing is wen u click start the folder thing on the right that
states the name of the users account, pictures, music, search, games,
documents, etc... the problem wit that is wen i click on music...nothing
happens either..wen i right click it to see its properties and stuff or where
its located all it says is COPY RENAME PROPERTIES...and in properties its all
blank...0 bytes, no file name nothing....how can i change it...to the
location of where my music is...like that it can be easier for me to just
click there and locate all my music.
