| | Addint Media to WMC Library taking a very long time. I recently purchased a new Windows Media Center PC. I transfered my music (mp3) files from my old PC to the MY Music folder on my new PC using Windows Easy Transfer. In WMC, under Tasks, Setup, Add to Library, I have selected that music folder to add. I get a message that says "You can wait while media is added or select OK to continue using Windows Media Center." It shows a progress bar (currently at 36% after running for days). I have thousands of mp3 files. Does it really take this long? Why? Also, does WMC use the same Library and WMP? |
