My burned DVDs won't play... Help!

I just bought my HP Pavillion dv6000 with Vista a couple of months ago, and I
must say that I'm not very computer savvy. I am trying to play a slide show
dvd which was made for me and it doesn't recognize that the disc has anything
on it. It directs me to the programs that I can use to burn dvds not play
them. I have tried it on other computers and it works, and regular dvds and
cds play on my computer, but for some reason this one burned dvd won't play.
Please help

Re: My burned DVDs won't play... Help!

Was the disk properly "closed" or "finalized" on the computer that created it?
(Consult Windows Help and Support for information.)

I'm assuming that it was properly finalized because it plays on other
computers.
