| | coping file from a remote file share - FILE IS NO LONG THERE bogus error message I am having issues trying to access files that are located across my WAN. When I try to copy them to my local Desktop or Hard Disk I get an error saying "Cound not find this item" "Verify the item's location and try again." On XP I have no problems accessing the same data across my WAN. This problem seams to be isolated to WAN connections, because I do not have the same problem when I access files on my LAN. Maybe it is some kind of Timeout issue with Vista and WAN transfers. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Heith |
