| | D-Link DWL-G520+ Connection Problem Hi, Has anyone had any luck getting the D-Link DWL-G520+ working in Vista using the XP drivers? I'm using the v2.04 drivers for the Ax revision from www.dlink.co.uk and they install fine, but won't connect to my router properly. The router is I am using is a Netgear DG834G and set to automatically give out IP addresses and is on channel 11. When Vista makes the wireless connection the IP address the card ends up with is 169.254.50.18 but the router is giving out IPs in the range 192.168.0.2 and upwards. This suggests the card hasn't connected properly. Also, if I look at the connection status it sends out data but never receives any data back. The final thing that seems wrong is in the event viewer I keep getting this error: Wireless network connection failed. Network SSID: apple BSS Type: Infrastructure Failure Reason: Driver disconnected. which probably isn't any good. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? Cheers Gavin |
