Re: Cant find any networks using wirless

Is it telling you there are no networks in the area? Have you double
checked the physical wireless power switch (and any software power
switch)?

Do you have any other wireless software installed?

Re: Cant find any networks using wirless

No. I mean't is it it telling you:

"No Wireless Network in Range"

or is it some other type of error?

Also, you might want to double check the power switch for wireless. I
have never seen a laptop that doesn't have one anywhere.

Do you see the wireless adapter in Device Manager (right click on
Computer and select Manage).

TRENDNET TEW-421PC PCMCIA Card WiFi 54 Mb compatible with router. and it
works ok now!!!!
It looks like the internal wifi has packed in.
buying this PCMCIA was the cheapest fix buy a mile.

Re: Cant find any networks using wirless

Glad you found a solution. Note that most (but not all) laptop
internal wireless cards can be replaced.
