| | Join domain - Windows 2000 Server I'm trying to join my vista desktop (wired) to our domain running Win 2K. It allows me to enter the domain name, then asks for administrator password, then I get this error: "An attempt to resolve the DNS name of a DC in the domain being joined has failed. Please verify this client is configured to reach a DNS server that can resolve DNS names in the target domain." I'm a novice when it comes to DNS settings, but I can see that my computer is not listed in the active directory of the server. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |
