| | Home Server and Domains I'm interested in some of the features of MS Home Server but I already run a domain at home. If I install it on one of my machines, will it play nicely with the DC and other domain machines? -- Keith ''StarPilot'' Barrows ASPInsider http://sol3.net/ |

| | Re: Home Server and Domains Regarding "...I already run a domain at home...." - to have a "domain" requires a Server OS such as Windows Server 2003. Main feature of Home Server is it's backup ability, "data storage" and treating multiple HDs as one. It is functional within a peer-to-peer (Workgroup) environment. It can not provide the "roles" of a standard Server such as Active Directory, File Server, Application Server and so forth.
