Remote monitoring a Vista PC on a XP PC

How can i monitor a Vista PC on a XP Workstation via MMC-Snapin ?
The usual way of adding the "System Monitor Control" Snapin to the MMC on
the XP PC doesnt work. I allready installed mmc 3.0 .

Also the whole remote computer administration via MMC doesnt seem to work.

Is there a Plugin needed on the XP workstation ?

I allready allowed all remote administrative services in
the vista firewall functions as well as disable the firewall completely,
which
didnt help.
