| | Norton Firewall 2007 block IE7 on Vista? I am not sure if this is the right group for my problem. Please move this post to the right group if necessary. I am using Norton Internet Security 2007 on Vista Home Premium. After my system reboots due to installation of today's Windows Update, IE 7 can no longer access the web. I notice the web page titles are shown (in less a second) but quickly vanish and IE7 display error pages. However, Windows Live Messenger is OK. When I turn down the Norton Firewall (I always use Norton firewall and disable Windows Firewall), IE 7 works again. I also notice that with Norton firewall enabled, the web pages are rendered OK in Windows Live Messenger, but not IE7. |
