| Newbie | Searching Vista x64 compatible NAT software I'm STILL looking for a Vista x64 compatible NAT Software... The ICS integrated into Vista is not good enough for my needs 'cause I neethabilit to control which users(MAC/IP) are allowed to actually use my internet... I know that UserGate and WinGate support what I need, but both are not Vista AND not 64bit compatible :-( Can anyone offer an compatible solution? I was thinking about doing it via VPN, but at least one device that needs Internet Access is not intelligent enough to support VPN :-( |

| Newbie | Re: Searching Vista x64 compatible NAT software Because a) I don't have a router and I don't feel like searching one that fulfills all my needs mainly due to the fact that b) the scenario I'm using is pretty weird. I have two NICs that are connected to two different networks, one of which identifies me by my MAC... Both networks contain different pcs, some of which should be allowed to share my internet connection but who gets how much bandwidth should be controllable as well... Oh, and there has to be a certain degree of bridging so that some or all pcs from network A can access network B, but only via the gateway, as not to trigger the MAC guard... and If I just go into a shop and by a simple rounter i can swear that it won't be able to manage that... but the two software solutions I found both had no problems with this configuration, but they are both not Vista x64 compatible... |
