Networking VISTA & XP

I am having a problem viewing and accessing my XP machines from my VISTA
machine. I have read all the threads and have tried it all.

My host computer is the VISTA computer, and my other two are XPs. I have a
wireless router and can access the intranet through them all. The two XP
machines can see the VISTA machine, but the VISTA machine can not see the XP
machines. I have

I have updated the XP PCs with LLTD protocol as suggested
I'm using the same Workgroup name at both machines.
In Vista, I have - Network Discovery: ON, Network type set to Private, Media
sharing:ON, File Sharing: ON, and Public Folder Sharing: ON

I have been working on this for hours and hours. Any suggestions are
greatly appreciated. I am no computer expert, but do have some experience.

I even contacted the router experts who helped me set the network up, but
stated they were not allowed to assist with file and printer sharing - they
are only allowed to help you get the intranet connected.

RE: Networking VISTA & XP

Did you run the XPs' file and printer sharing home network wizard?

I think you're almost there. You could check
http://winhlp.com/node/179 for some more details. Perhaps the
last point---firewall---points at your particular problem.

If this also doesn't help, please describe which Vista and XP
versions you are using.
