scanned pictures

I scanned two pictures and now I can't find them. I know it sounds crazy but
I have looked in everything in my computer and I can't locate them.

Thanks for any help out there.
Nancy

Re: scanned pictures

Start to scan another, and watch to see where it wants to put it.
Do not save them to any of the folders that start with "My ".

Use Windows Search function, to search for {*.jpg, *.gif} files modified
since the date you did the scans. Scanners typically store scanned pix
as either .jpg or .gif (.jpg is far more likely). Restricting the search
to recent dates will limit the number of pix files found. Then you can
just click on those found (to invoke your associated pix viewer) to see
which files you wanted.
