Vista - JetBlue lounge Wifi problem

I have been in JetBlue lounges recently where my wifi card can find the free
connection and appears to connect, but when I launch IE, the screen displays
an error and not the confirmation screen that allows me to complete the
connection.

I have met other Vista users who hit the same problem. And I read a small
biz story on microsoft.com that said (but did not specify) that certain
settings must be changed for successful connection.

Can you help?
