Can't detect my Linksys Wireless Router

Hi,

I recently bought a new Philips HEPC7511 with Windows Vista and have a
Linksys Wireless Router which I want to connect to. I have gone through the
setup and configured the router but when I try connecting to the wireless
network, the router isn't detected (even though I tried placing it right next
to my PC). I have a working RALINK network card and have tried reinstalling
the drivers for it. As I am new to Windows Vista (and networking in general)
I feel maybe I am missing something simple from the menus. I tried using my
old laptop which has Windows XP and this detected my router (and a whole
bunch of other wireless devices) straight away whereas my PC doesn't seem to
be detecting any.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Turn on "Broadcast SSID" on your router.
