| | Shared folder slow to open Having an issue that is driving me mad. On the new Vista Laptop we have with Vista business connected to a 2003 Server R2 the shared folder with the website in it 5000+ picture files takes about a minutes to open every single time. If we access it on the Windows XP machines it works straight away so I assume this is a vista issue anyone come across it or have an answer |

| | RE: Shared folder slow to open I hear you! 2003SrvSP2 with XP/Vista clients. Access to network shares have slow response times. Tweaking the settings of the TCP Auto-Tuning have helped some, but not all, users. "Darren Reynolds" wrote: Quote: > Having an issue that is driving me mad. | | RE: Shared folder slow to open Hi, Thanks for the response. Not sure what you mean by TCP tuner not come across that before. I have tried disabling offline files and a manual IP and DHCP as well. I have also given the user full permissions but still the same. "RoninV" wrote: Quote: > I hear you! 2003SrvSP2 with XP/Vista clients. Access to network shares have > slow response times.
