Remote desktop to windows server 2003 client

Hi, I'm having a problem using a using Vista build 5472 remote desktop to
connect to a Windows Server 2003 client. Works fine with Windows XP.

My PC is on a domain, the client is on the domain also, however I'm
attempting to connect to a local account. I don't have the option to change
the default domain to the local machine name in the "Windows security - Enter
your credentials" box. I've tried inputting machine name/username and this
doesn't help, it just errors with "This computer can't connect to the remote
computer" etc...

I've checked the machine can be pinged, tried running RDC as administrator,
switched off group policy inheritance... Nothing seem to allow me to change
the domain..

Anyone else had this type of problem?

RE: Remote desktop to windows server 2003 client

Sorry all, forget this one, I got it working. I was using a dual boot setup
for my Vista test machine, with it's own IP, the IP had blocked at our border
router...
