| | Re: Networking XP & Vista I am a computer noob. I have a laptop with windows vista home premium and desktop with xp pro. I want to transfer my files from my desktop to my laptop. How would I do it? P.S. Please explain every step. | | RE: Networking XP & Vista hey jason! i'm having the same problem, i've followed all the steps outlined and my vista notebook sort of sees the pc desktop but i still can't engage in file sharing.... have you managed to find a solution to this problem yet?
