Home Server or Windows Server 2008

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, perhaps someone could point me to the right
    one:

I love to build my own computers and my next task is that I want to build a
server. I am curious what system is right for me. Can Home Server download
all my outlook mail like an exchange server or anything, or is it just a
remote access computer that automatically backs up your files?

    Thanks.

    Hi
Windows Home Server meant to be a Server for peer-to-peer Network,. You can
Not install Exchange, or other server product on it.
If you need central system of this magnitude go with Windows 2003 SBS.

    Jack you recommend Windows server 2003 over 2008 ( there isn't a 2008
product that can do what 2003 SBS does?)

    Hi
Not yet, Windows 2008 SBS. AFAIK it is scheduled for release later in 2008.
