| | Dial Up Properties-> Calling Card Setup None of the three "Wait" functions on the "Edit Calling Card" window wait. All of the numbers get dialled all at once with no pauses. Tried with internal and external modems which should eliminate modem driver issues. Upgraded Vista to SP1, no change. The Comment associated with "Alternate Phone Numbers" gets deleted when the alternate number becomes active. |

| | Re: Dial Up Properties-> Calling Card Setup To get a 1 sec. pause, insert a comma " , " into the dial string. Easier than trying to get the broken "Wait" stuff to work - I gave up on that clear back at Windows 95. For example: ,,,,,6025551212 will wait 5 sec, then dial 6025551212. This works especially well on the "dial 9 to get outside line" stuff you run into at hotels: ,,,,,9,,,,,6025551212 "Xyzzy" <Xyzzy@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:72DF1291-4A98-424B-8900-571AF4E28824@xxxxxx Quote: > None of the three "Wait" functions on the "Edit Calling Card" window wait. > All of the numbers get dialled all at once with no pauses. > > Tried with internal and external modems which should eliminate modem driver > issues. | | Re: Dial Up Properties-> Calling Card Setup Thanks for the reply. This is almost funny in a really sick kind of way. When I put commas in the specify digits box and save it, the specify digits turns into a "Wait n seconds" function of the number of commas ![]() If I mix numeric digits and commas it strips all the commas out and just leaves the number. ![]() And it won't let me type commas in any of the number boxes. ![]() "V Green" wrote: Quote: > To get a 1 sec. pause, insert a comma " , " into the dial > string.
