Vista - remote desktop screens goes black

remote desktop screens goes black

when my connection to my remote computer times out the screen goes black.
when i try to login again , the screen stays black. this cause me to refresh
and shut down my apps. any suggestions?

This could be MTU issue. You may want to check the the optimal MTU by using
