CAT6 cable for WAN port on router?

Should I use a CAT6 cable to connect my cablemodem to the WAN port on my
router, to allow gigabit ethernet? The cablemodem connection is only 10MBS
with my ISP, so I assume there is not advantage to cat6/gigabit?
